Klaus Otto’s passion is to help establish a culture of trust in companies and public administrations. Today are among his priorities trainings about „Transformational Leadership“, team building and work-life balance.
After completing his studies in business administration he began his career in 1976 working for companies in Cologne in the areas of organization and project management. Pretty soon he swift to the HR a power supply company, where he worked for 15 years as a manager for human resources development and training. During this time, he established a belief that employees are sustainable engaged and motivated when they have superiors as role models and where the corporate culture is regarded overall as „ethical“.
In the meanwhile, he was certified as a medical practitioner for psychotherapy and in 1998 Klaus Otto decided to be self-employed as a freelance trainer and consultant and in corporation with DOOR Training he delivered his services in Germany. He worked as a franchisee with DOOR and trained employees in numerous multinational corporations. The main subjects in collaboration with DOOR training were mostly entrepreneurial culture change, customer orientation and distribution. The alliance with DOOR still continues till nowadays. The focus of his work now is the direction of his own company, NAVISANA.
Klaus Otto is recognized as an expert (see the book: ‘Das Wir-Gefühl leben’ (Live the we-feeling) in the following fields: communication, improved operational interaction, increase emotional intelligence and transformational leadership.
Two of his key statements are „less is more“ and „Everything needs a soul so that it can act.“ In particular, the second statement relates to the effectiveness in business, in other words: „do the right thing with team spirit“
The father of 3 children and several grandchildren is living in a second marriage with his wife Sabine and knows firsthand the values of trust, stability, intuition and experience.
